Training yoga at Training and Rehabilitation Center for the Blind

Training yoga class with 14 visually impaired people at Training and Rehabilitation Center for the Blind 217 Trung Kinh at 6 am on Wednesday.

Understanding the benefits of practicing yoga to blind therapists, Blind-Link and Omamori Spa has worked closely with our volunteer, Samuel M. Herrera, to organize a yoga class for blind people at the Training and Rehabilitation Center for the Vietnamese Blind at 217 Trung Kinh Street, Hanoi. On August 3rd, 2020, the first group of 14 students attended the course at 6 am. The course is scheduled every Wednesday.

Learning to be aware of therapists posture at their desk or when you walk, for example, can be the first step to making improvements that will make them move more easily and feel better all the time.

Breathing techniques are an essential part of yoga — not only do they help blind therapists to stay focused while practicing yoga, they can also help reduce stress and relax the nervous system and calm the mind.
